I’d recommend her to anyone and everyone in a heartbeat! Cortney has taken gorgeous family and pet photos several times over the years. There’s always been flexibility in booking and rebooking. Talented people tend to be busy if they’re great at what they do, but she has always presented options to make it work. She’s brilliant at taking your vision and taking it to the next level and coming up with creative ideas. She’s got a great eye and is a great communicator. I hate getting my photo taken but she always makes me feel comfortable and we have fun with it! We’ve always fallen in love with our photos…they never disappoint. The light, composition, expressions and body language always tell a story…and make us look damn good! It’s hard to choose a favorite experience! Watching her photograph our daughter and pets was fun because Elin loves to rock a camera. She captured her perfectly. Our family shoot with our hunter boots and vineyard was a blast because it had a rustic glamor feel and we were bouncing around in the John Deere, dealing with dogs…it was hilarious, fun, crazy…she captured our life in a nutshell.

Cortney was booked by my bride and groom for their wedding at The Vista Optimist Club and they assured me that she was amazing. I couldn't agree more! She kept in communication the months before the wedding all the way up to the wedding day. She took it upon herself to show up extra early to get a feel for the venue so she could target spots for great pictures. She was a blessing to me as a wedding coordinator because she always checked in with me on the timeline , took complete control of all scheduled photos and single handedly organized the group photo! On top of all that.....her interaction with the bride and groom, guests and staff was incredible. The smile on her face never went away! The Bride sent me the wedding photos and they were just as amazing as Cortney. I highly recommend her!

The photos she shot are absolutely outstanding and my wife and I couldn't be happier. While we were being pulled (quite literally) into about a hundred different directions, Cortney was respectful of our time and was assertive when she needed to be, utilizing the evolving natural lighting of the area effectively and professionally. She was also extremely helpful in guiding my wife and I through a number of different environments and pose ideas, maximizing our time together to get a ton of unique and memorable shots of the two of us, certainly no easy feat as we aren't trained models and we were more than a little bit anxious about the events of the day. To that end, Cortney made us both feel truly comfortable throughout our time with her, going above and beyond while still being super friendly and empathetic. We are thrilled to have chosen Cort as our photographer and cannot recommend her more! Cortney has done so many photos for us over the years - family portraits, graduation photos, Christmas cards, etc. She makes it so easy for her clients to book with her in advance and gives a lot of her time and attention to planning the shoot with you. She makes everyone feel comfortable and confident, always has a smile on her face, and handles everything very professionally. My favorite experience with her was during our family Christmas session at the beach - we were all laughing, trying not to get soaked by the waves, and able to really enjoy one another because we were all able to “truly be ourselves.” And it truly reflected that in the photos. I highly recommend Cort!!! I have referred her to many of my friends and family because she is a gifted photographer with an eye for detail and our images have always been high quality with great editing.
