Cortney Mace is a professionally trained photographer located in Southern California. She received her Bachelor's degree in photography from the University of La Verne in 2018 after being awarded a performing arts scholarship for photography. After graduating college she started working as an in-house photographer for an automotive PR and Marketing agency in downtown Los Angeles. This is where she gained experience in business branding for a variety of companies social media platforms and websites. During this time she also traveled all over the country documenting large scale corporate events. 

Two years and a pandemic later Cortney relocated to San Diego, California where she has been pursuing her own freelance business full time. Cortney works with a multitude of different clientele ranging from creating content for local wineries, cosmetic lines, yoga studios, documenting family affairs, couples and weddings, and still shooting automotive events occasionally. Cortney’s training in different artificial and natural lighting environments allows her to create a diverse style of work for each of her clients.

Cortney’s style of photography is elegant yet documentative. She takes her time with her clients to ensure they are fully comfortable in front of the camera to have an enjoyable and authentic experience. Her true to color style of editing ensures that your photos will age gracefully for years to come.
